MIDPOINT SUBSTATION ADDITIONS
IPCO’s existing Midpoint Substation, located 10 miles north of Interstate 84 in Jerome County, Idaho, would be expanded to accommodate the new MSTI 500kV transmission line. The proposed additions to the substation cannot be completed in the existing fenced area; expansion of the substation yard would be required. Engineering studies will be completed to determine the ultimate modifications required at the Midpoint Substation.
